Webinar on Tax Outlook 2023
Last week, we held a webinar on "Kenya Tax Outlook 2023", in partnership with our member Grant Thornton Kenya. This event was open to all participants and ended with a dynamic Q&A session.
This was an opportunity for our audience to gain insight into the recently released budget policies and measures likely to be taken by the government.

- Measures to be taken to meet target collection and fulfill political promises.
- Insight on how much expenditure will increase.
- Who is being targeted for additional revenue to fund the rising budget.
According to Samuel Mwaura, the dockets under the general economic and commercial affairs sector, like industry, trade, and tourism, would get the most significant raise compared to their allocations for the current year.
