Doing in Business in Kenya Seminar - Business Delegation from Mayotte

On the occasion of the visit of a multisectoral business delegation from Mayotte Island, the French Chamber is delighted to invite you to a 'Doing Business in Kenya' Seminar,
in collaboration with Business France, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry,and ADIM, the Development and Innovation Agency of Mayotte.

During this event, you will be able to learn more about Mayotte Island, as well as attend three sectoral roundtables on Tourism, Agribusiness and Tech, which have been identified as strategic areas of collaboration between Mayotte and Kenya. You will also meet with the French business delegation: 12 carefully selected companies based in Mayotte, keen to explore the Kenyan market!

Mayotte Island is part of the French overseas territories in the Indian Ocean, only 2h30 away from Nairobi. The island has been a crossroads for maritime trade between Europe and the Indian Ocean for centuries. Mayotte has experienced a dynamic economic growth over the past decade and presents relevant opportunities for private investments and export of goods & services from Kenya, even more in the framework of the EU – Kenya Economic partnership agreement. Indeed, because of its insularity, Mayotte relies on imports to sustain its economic growth and development. In 7 years, imports have doubled, reaching 1.1 billion euros in 2023.
