The French Chamber of Commerce Kenya, as part of its services, provides training opportunities to equip you with essential skills and knowledge for the support of your business. On Thursday, 7th September 2023, the FCCK held a private workshop for prospective investors in the Kenyan market from Mayotte. The session led by our Executive Director Laure Paugum entailed a thorough breakdown of Kenya's economic indicators, economic treaties and agreements that Kenya is signatory to, its export markets as well as opportunities that exist in tech, agriculture and the healthcare sector.
The training also provided widespread applicable and sector specific recommendations for navigating the Kenyan market including but not limited to:
- Conducting research and educating oneself before setting up business
- Studying the prospective market
- Anticipating Future Steps
- Taking into account cultural differences.
It was truly an information-packed session for the Mayotte delegation.
